of course I know, but for the moment we are making appointments in Bastion's topic wich isn't the right place either and in the "official " game meeting topic we risk to get lost in between all the other games.
in other words , I thought it easier to have all the Lotr stuff together instead of having to search between other mails.
but if there is no need for this topic I happily close it down again.

moonfire, I'd have to say I agree with Lex as there really aren't many active LotR players here so it'd be much more difficult to respond quickly to somebody looking for a match in the other forum. Perhaps we could make a single topic in the official forum, just for LotR players? It'd be less cluttered and in the appropriate forum. It's just a suggestion and your call, bien sur.

12.00 is a bit early, how about 14.00 ?
we'll try that scenario, how many points do we need ? can you explain in short what the scenario is about so we know what to bring with us ?

Actually this game is one of my scenario idea from the past, so now we could test it. This game is very intresting, because this is not just a simply war.

Im going to build a city with lot of ruins, so the board will be crowded. There will be 20 chest, but only 8 of those will contain tresaure with different values. If you find tresaure, you have to take it. 2 of your men have to carry it back from the deploying point. Only 2 troop could carry the chest. Riders cant, cause its heavy. Monsters also cant, cause the chests contains valuable artifacts from the past, monsters are not careful.
If your carriers is attacked by enemy, they stop carrying, and fight as normal. Two soldier could pick up the chest at any time of their move phase, but they move value will reduce by one inch. If they reached the gate, they wont gone, they could come back at the next turn.

Deploying: 3+D6 figure could arrive to the table to your deploying zone. The deploying zone is a small gate where your men arrive, or leave with the tresaure. The two deploying zone is at the to corner of the table. 5 archer is saving the gate, they are not in the battle, they just stand above the gate, and shoot to the enemy if it is to close. You dont have to pay points for them, but they could only shoot to 12 inch from their post.

The game is taking for 2 hours. If a carry team is only 20 inch far from their gate, the game goes on until they arrive. Of course the enemy could take the tresaure, so the game could go on for a while, but there is a little chance of it. We count our tresaures value. The winner is who collected more, the number of casulties doesnt count here. Of course if you kill everybody from the enemy you are also winner, but not that the mission.

You could bring who ever you want. Lot of troops are recommended. Lets play a 600 points game.

I think I shared all my thoughts, what do you think?
